#votingmatters is a new campaign from #Emilymatters. which champions gender equality and encourages young women to vote, ensuring that legacies of women, such as suffragette Emily Davison, are not forgotten.
 
It’s Emily’s birthday on Saturday 11th October and with the 2015 general election on the horizon, we thought it would be a good idea to get lots of positive #votingmatters messages, photos and clips onto social media as a means to raise awareness of our democratic right, which Emily and many others fought so hard to obtain for future generations of women.
