We’re continuing to develop our Why #votingmatters<\/strong> chat<\/strong> and this time we worked with e-voting software specialists mi-voice<\/strong><\/a>, to help us choose a chat hashtag. Much like the expected outcome of the 2015 general election itself, the vote was finely balanced.<\/p>\n

In the lead up to the debate the core Emilymatters team researched the various political parties and we encouraged others to get involved. We received tweets from across the UK with links to relevant articles and clips as well as blog posts.<\/p>\n

Phil Hodges<\/strong><\/a> sent us his summary of what Labour<\/strong> <\/a>has to offer young people, whilst Rachel Collinson<\/strong><\/a>, who I met at the recent Women in Parliament event, sent in her summary of the Greens<\/strong> <\/a>policies for young people.<\/p>\n
