On the 11th October<\/span> 2018<\/strong><\/span>, we have a very special celebration in honour of suffragette Emily Davison’s<\/a><\/strong><\/span> birthday and the UN Day of the Girl<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

We are excited to be partnering with PAWA<\/strong><\/a>, an innovative charity with education<\/strong> <\/span>and empowerment<\/strong> <\/span>at its heart, whose sole focus is on supporting teenage girls’ education in Asia<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Both PAWA<\/strong><\/a> and #Emilymatters<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0celebrate\u00a0Day of the Girl<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>as part of our outreach work and this year we have come together to highlight the #vote100<\/strong><\/a> anniversary and the importance of the education <\/span><\/strong>and<\/span> empowerment<\/span><\/strong> of women and girls today.<\/p>\n

It promises to be a\u00a0unique event, which is both site specific<\/strong><\/span> and interactive<\/span><\/strong> (using social media).<\/p>\n

We will be live streaming from 7.00pm<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and will be using the hashtag #EmPawa<\/strong><\/span> from our social media accounts, so:<\/p>\n
