On Thursday 13th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2014, an historic event took place in the House of Commons when TO FREEDOM\u2019S CAUSE,<\/strong>\u00a0Kate Willoughby\u2019s play about suffragette\u00a0Emily Davison<\/strong>\u00a0was performed to a packed audience as part of a special event in support of\u00a0Emily Thornberry MP<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s\u00a0Emily Davison Statue in Parliament Campaign<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TO FREEDOM\u2019S CAUSE should be seen by every woman and teenage girl.
\n<\/i>And by anyone who couldn\u2019t be bothered to vote. Moving, stirring & passionate.

Emily Davison was a pioneer in using modern media to promote direct political action. She believed that women and men had the right to be equal citizens.<\/p>\n
